At Allesley Primary School we take eSafety extremely seriously. We believe that it is the right of every child to feel safe and secure when using technology. It is vital that parents and carers work with us to ensure children stay safe when using technology. When we talk about eSafety we are not only referring to the internet. We are also talking about the use of computers, games consoles, mobile phones, televisions and tablets.
The new Computing curriculum has put a large emphasis on eSafety and at school we work with the children to teach them how to use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly. At school we have emphasised eSafety by taking part in activities to celebrate Safer Internet Day. This work is ongoing and will continue to be embedded through our Computing curriculum and as an integral part of our work on safeguarding.
