SPELLINGS
This week and last week, we have been looking at spelling patterns that make the sound 'shul'. Last week were 'tial' words and this week, we have 'cial' words. These are difficult to remember, so you must really learn these well, along with the meaning of them and put them into sentences. Good luck!
Mrs Callaway's spellings are in red again, as usual.

Mrs Callaway's group - 'ough' words.
The 'ough' make different sounds. Can you sort them into different sounding words, eg. 'off', 'uff', 'or' and 'oa' sounds? Say the word out loud and listen carefully to the sound it makes.
Once you've done this, can you add some more 'ought' words that make these sounds also and add them to each list.
