Well done to all our gorgeous year 3's and their families!!!

We made it through the weirdest, most tricky time...you should be so proud of all you have achieved.

Being away from school hasn't been easy, but we are so proud of how you have embraced the change!

We have missed you all so much, we were having the best year with you all.

We won't forget 2020 in a hurry - but please accept our thanks for all the hard work, effort and most of all your positive attitudes and how you have continued to smile!

Key Skill: As a Historian I will use a variety of sources to answer questions about the past.

Your theme home work is to research an ancient civilisation.

Make notes and draw pictures to answer the following questions:

Who were they?  When did they live?  Where did they live?  What was life like (buildings, trade, communication, democracy, beliefs)?

To ensure there is an even spread of ancient civilisations being researched, please research the one which states your child’s birth month:

Egypt – September, October, November

Indus – December, January, February

Shang Dynasty – March, April, May

Sumer – June, July, August

Please can completed homework be handed in by Monday 28th September.

Multiplication

In year 3 we need to know our 2's, 5's, 10,s 3's, 4's and 8 times tables. You can help your child practise their times tables by using the links below.

Your child should have a blank yr 3/4 spelling list which was sent home before half term, as well as the individual highlighted version following our recent assessments (the 'R' column represents the words your child can read, and the 'W' column for the words your child could write/spell).
