Dear Parents and Carers and all our wonderful Reception children!

Welcome to Week 3 of lockdown. We hope you are all keeping safe and well. We miss you all so much and can't wait to see all your beautiful smiles again soon. Thank you for all the lovely emails and fantastic photographs of all your amazing home learning. We love to see what you have been doing at home so please keep sending them to us. Thank you also to all our parents who have set up their child's school email account. We hope you have found our Reception class page easier to navigate. Our Week 3 learning map below sets out your child's learning for the whole week. Please click on the daily rainbows to access the activities on the learning map for each specific day.

The videos referred to within the rainbows are accessible on Stream through your child's Office 365 account. Please log in with your child's school email address and click on 'All apps' to find Stream. Next, click on 'My content' or 'Discover' at the top of the screen and scroll down to 'Videos'. You should then be able to view them. All videos will be available in readiness for each day's learning.

We miss you all lots and can't wait to see and hear about what you have been doing at home. Stay safe.

Lots of love from Miss Geen, Mrs Shenton, Mrs Cash, Miss Knight and Miss Bates. xxxxx

Reading, Writing and Phonics Information

Dear Parents and Carers

Please find below a powerpoint setting out some detailed information about Reading, Writing and Phonics here at Allesley Primary. We hope that this will give you an idea of how we teach as well as supporting you with your child’s learning at home. We have also uploaded our letter formation sheet which we use in school daily with the rhymes the children learn to help them form letters correctly. In addition please also find below a powerpoint of Stage 1 Floppy’s Phonics sounds to support with the correct pronounciation of sounds when you are reading at home with your child.

Many thanks for your continuing support.
