🌈Week 8 - Week beginning 1st March🌈

Dear Parents and Carers and all our wonderful Reception children!

Hi everyone, we hope you are all well and you have had a great week learning all about the story of 'The Gingerbread Man'. We have received lots more of your wonderful home learning photographs this week which have blown us away! Well done everyone and a huge 'thank you'!

This week's learning is all about 'The Three Little Pigs'. We have lots more super activities and challenges planned for you to keep you busy and we hope you really enjoy them!

It is also World Book Day on Thursday this week so take a look at the activities on Thursday's rainbow and the 'World Book Day' icon on Class Pages for lots of fantastic book related activities. We hope you have lots of fun working out the clues for our 'Masked Reader' challenge!

We have uploaded the next set of sounds for you to practise and listen to - take a look at the Floppy's Phonics Stage 2 Sounds Powerpoint below. In addition we have uploaded a Powerpoint to accompany this week's Numberblocks episode which also contains some tips and ideas for some lovely Maths learning opportunities at home.

Our Week 8 learning map below sets out your child's learning for the whole week ahead. Any resources that are needed and weblinks can also be found underneath. Remember to click on the daily rainbows for activities referred to in our learning map as well as additional activities with direct video and weblinks also. The videos referred to within the rainbows are accessible on Stream through your child's Office 365 account. Please log in with your child's school email address and click on 'All apps' to find Stream. Next, click on 'My content' or 'Discover' at the top of the screen and scroll down to 'Videos'. You should then be able to view them. All videos will be available in readiness for each day's learning. Videos that are not yet available to view will be uploaded early next week.
